    Description

    The perfect candidate will have:

    A Master's in Business Administration of Not-for-Profit or equivalent. Understand the role of an Executive Director, and have experience in that role.

    Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage a board, and lead productive and successful meetings. Experience in large grant oversight requirements. Aging issues and the current crisis. Willing to learn and think out of the box.

    Knowledge and ability to delegate to managers.

    Knowledge of all common platforms and communications. Knowledge and ability to delegate to managers.

    Strategic Leadership: Translate the board's vision into actionable, measurable goals. Guide long-term planning and mission fulfillment.

    Financial Management & Fundraising: Oversee budgeting, fiscal planning, and resource allocation. Lead development efforts, including donor cultivation, corporate sponsorships, and grant writing to ensure financial sustainability.

    Board Relations: Act as a liaison between the board and staff. Assist trustees with governance, recruitment, and fiduciary stewardship.

    Operational Oversight: Manage daily administration, ensuring the organization runs efficiently and effectively. Supervise staff, delegate tasks, and foster a healthy, inclusive workplace culture.

    Community & Public Relations: Serve as the chief spokesperson and ambassador for the organization. Build relationships with the media, industry partners, and community stakeholders.

    Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, as well as internal organizational bylaws.
