Project 68 (P68) is a culture-first civic organization focused on increasing civic participation among politically disengaged and rightfully cynical Black audiences, particularly Gen Z and Millennials. We operate at the intersection of culture and civic life, partnering with creators, cultural influencers, and state/local partners to make civic information real, relevant, and culturally grounded.
We are seeking a Deputy Executive Director (DED) to serve as the Executive Director’s primary partner and lead strategic, operational, and managerial functions across the organization. This role combines high-level leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing internal operations, supervising senior staff, driving program development, supporting fundraising efforts, and strengthening partnerships across the civic and cultural ecosystem.
This is a full-time, remote position with occasional travel and schedule flexibility for events, activations, and cross-team collaboration.
