    The American Indian College Fund is dedicated to transforming lives and communities by increasing access to higher education for Native students. As the largest and highest-rated American Indian nonprofit organization, the Fund has provided over $237.1 million to support tribal college education. Empowering more than 4,000 Native students annually, the organization supports not only scholarships but also funding for tribally controlled colleges and cultural preservation activities. By addressing educational needs from early childhood to career placement, the College Fund fosters opportunities for success and growth within American Indian communities.

    The College Fund is looking for a talented Recruiter who will own our recruiting systems, processes, and execute on direct full cycle hiring.

    The Team :

    Our People Operations team is made up of Learning & Development, HR, and Building & Facilities. We collaborate to create a workplace where our staff is supported in their experience, work, and development.

    What you’ll do:

    We are looking for an accountable, data driven, full cycle recruiter with a DEI lens and knack for optimizing ATS/tools to support our organizational growth. We are searching for someone with a proven track record of rolling up their sleeves to own end to end full cycle hiring and process improvement.

    This role reports into the People Operations Director and is expected to travel no more than 10% of the time. This is a hybrid position based in Denver.

    Your Day to Day

    • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans to identify, source, and hire highly qualified mission aligned candidates including metrics and data driven pipeline management.
    • Partner with hiring managers and interviewers to understand hiring needs, team matching, required skills and qualifications.
    • Enhance and implement recruiting processes and programs while maintaining an inclusive and high talent bar, such as developing targeted outreach campaigns, building connections with industry leaders, and removing any unfair biases from the hiring process
    • Leverage data, reports, and performance metrics to improve recruiting effectiveness and to influence change as needed.
    • Ensure a fair, equitable and positive experience for every candidate.
    • Enhance American Indian College Fund’s employer brand to showcase our mission, culture, and values to candidates
    • Stay up-to-date on recruiting best practices, emerging sourcing techniques, interview innovations, and workplace trends

    What You Bring:

    • 5+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting supporting technical research teams
    • A collaborative, experimental and open mindset to new, creative recruiting ideas, or have experience working with hiring managers who are open to non-traditional talent strategies
    • Experience thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous, dynamic environments and enjoy juggling multiple priorities
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail, as well as a proactive mindset and ability to operate with autonomy
    • A proven track record of scaling and building diverse and high-performing teams
    • Extreme ownership mentality, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to achieve headcount targets while maintaining quality.

    • Personal and/or professional lived experience in Native Indigenous communities

    What you’ll get:

    $64,500 - $79,600 in annual salary
