    Description

    The Dissentient Initiative is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit focused on early intervention, mental health support, and public safety resilience. We are seeking a Grant Writer to support our Lead Grant Writer / Team Lead in researching opportunities and preparing grant proposals.

    Responsibilities

    • Research foundation and institutional grant opportunities
    • Assist with drafting proposals and letters of inquiry
    • Help refine boilerplate language and program descriptions
    • Support tracking of deadlines and submission requirements

    Qualifications

    • Experience with nonprofit grant writing or strong writing/research ability
    • Clear, concise communication skills
    • Interest in mental health, prevention, or public safety
    • Comfort collaborating closely with a team lead
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
