About Us
Boston Landmarks Orchestra has been building community through great music for 25 years. We produce free concerts and community events during the summer, with a growing focus on year-round programming. We foster a fun, accepting atmosphere not often seen at classical musical concert. Our concerts are a place where communities across Boston are brought together. We believe that when people from different backgrounds and demographics come together through the medium of music, barriers are broken down. We program works by composers of many different backgrounds and genres to collaborate frequently with an array of community partners. Our year-round programming has a particular focus on marginalized groups, including communities of color, low-income communities, and older adults.
