    About Hope Chicago

    Led by Dr. Aaron Kuecker, Hope Chicago is a two-generation initiative that’s been called one of the boldest and most innovative efforts to remove barriers to opportunity in decades.

    Since its founding in 2021, the Hope Chicago team has designed a unique systems-change solution with the ultimate goal of demonstrating what’s possible when everyone has access to opportunities to reach their fullest potential. Hope Chicago partners with 5 high schools and enables students and one parent from every family to complete a post-secondary pathway, completely debt-free. More information about Hope Chicago is available at www.hopechicago.org.

    About the Role

    Hope Chicago is seeking a Parent Success Coach to join the impact team. Under the direction of the Director of the Parent Program, the Parent Success Coach will work directly with Hope Parents to advise and coach them to and through their postsecondary and workforce opportunities to program completion. In collaboration with other Parent Success Coaches and community partners, the Parent Success Coach is responsible for proactive case management of a portfolio of parents.

    A successful candidate must have a personal passion for and professional commitment to equitable access to learning opportunities for adults and young people alike, with a particular focus on communities that have been underestimated and lacked investment. The Parent Success Coach must believe that pathways to postsecondary education and improved career pathways can empower people of all ages to create socio-economic mobility for themselves, their families and entire communities.

    (“Hope Parent” refers to the parents of traditional age Hope Scholars; “Hope Parent Scholar” refers to Hope Parents who also pursue their own postsecondary education)

    • Build relationships with partner high schools, parents, and community
    • Develop and execute implementation plans alongside the Parent Program Team, community partners, and post-secondary institutions;
    • Implement a parent/guardian awareness, cultivation and engagement plan to help move portfolio from an interest in post-secondary opportunities to planning, preparation and enrollment;
    • Support the continuous improvement process for Hope Chicago’s Parent Scholar Program by capturing data directly from partners and parent/guardian scholars;
    • Maintain accurate data files in Salesforce for portfolio;
    • Complete timely outreach and follow-up as defined by case management protocols;
    • Capture and document best practices as Hope Chicago and its partners learn; and
    • Contribute to Hope Chicago’s programmatic strategy, and collaborate with colleagues as part of a growing and evolving organization.

    Qualifications and Competencies

    Exceptional candidates will:

    • Possess 2+ years of experience in case management, social work, workforce development, community-based organizations, and/or adult education;
    • Have experience working directly with, and engaging adults in results-driven endeavors;
    • Have experience working in a CRM, ideally Salesforce
