    Director of Development

    Individual Giving and Donor Engagement

Part-Time Contract Position | Nashville / Middle Tennessee

    About Tennessee Resettlement Aid (TRA)

Tennessee Resettlement Aid (TRA) is a Nashville-based nonprofit organization serving refugee and immigrant families throughout Middle Tennessee by helping fill critical gaps in the resettlement and integration system.

Founded in 2021 in response to urgent needs among Afghan refugee families, TRA has grown to support a diverse immigrant community through culturally appropriate food assistance, donated home furnishings, women and baby supplies, school support programs, winter coat distributions, and other essential services delivered through partnerships and volunteers.

Our mission is simple: to help families build stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency as they begin new lives in our community.

    Position Summary

      • Participate in weekly planning and development meetings
      • Assist with preparation for donor meetings and fundraising conversations
      • Help strengthen overall fundraising discipline, follow-up practices, and donor engagement strategy
