Description
The Arlington Sister City Association (ASCA) seeks a part-time contract Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager to support its mission of fostering international exchange and community connection. This role is responsible for executing fundraising initiatives, coordinating events, managing communications, and supporting membership and volunteer engagement. Working closely with a volunteer Board, the Manager will handle day-to-day operations, including planning events, cultivating sponsors, producing digital content, and maintaining organized records. This is a remote, Arlington-based role with required attendance at local meetings and events including evening hours.
Qualifications
- Experience in fundraising, event planning, communications, or community engagement
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a small, volunteer-led environment
- Experience with nonprofit boards or volunteers preferred
- Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, social media, CRM systems)
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and communication skills
