We are seeking an energetic self-starter for a part-time position in nutrition services. This person will make a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of seniors by providing a hot, nutritious meal through our congregate dining services and Meals on Wheels delivery by our volunteers

Successful candidate will be a committed early-riser eager to work in a fast-paced environment to receive deliveries, heat and serve food, and clean and maintain kitchen equipment in a senior nutrition facility. Should have prior food service experience and/or willing to learn safe food handling, hygiene / communicable disease prevention practices. Must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to follow instructions. Position requires basic reading and math skills, and ability to work with volunteers. Position requires frequent 20+ pounds lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.

Candidates must pass comprehensive background check.

Starting pay: $15.00/hr.

Usual Schedule: 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. .... subject to some adjustment.

English fluency
