    Position Summary

    The Community Impact & Grants Coordinator supports Comunidad's youth organizing and community power-building work by helping track program outcomes, coordinate grant reporting, maintain data systems, and assist with storytelling and fundraising efforts. This position works closely with program staff to collect and organize information that demonstrates Comunidad's impact and helps secure resources to sustain and grow our work.

    The coordinator plays an important behind-the-scenes role, ensuring data, reports, stories, and fundraising materials are organized, accurate, and available to support organizational goals.

    Reports To: Co-Executive Director for Finance, Program, and Administration

    Key Responsibilities

    Data, Evaluation & Reporting (40%)

    • Maintain participant, program, and outcome tracking systems.
    • Support data collection and entry across programs and initiatives.
    • Compile data for grant reports, funder updates, and organizational reports.
    • Assist with surveys, assessments, and evaluation activities.
    • Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
    • Generate basic reports and summaries for staff and leadership.

    Storytelling & Communications Support (20%)

    • Collect stories, testimonials, photos, and other impact information from programs and events.
    • Assist in developing impact reports, funder updates, and community-facing materials.
    • Help translate program outcomes into clear and compelling narratives.
    • Support communications projects that highlight youth leadership and community impact.

    Grants Administration (30%)

    • Maintain grant calendars, reporting schedules, and application deadlines.
    • Coordinate collection of information and supporting documents for grant proposals and reports.
    • Draft portions of grant reports and proposals for review by leadership.
    • Track grant submissions, awards, and reporting requirements.
    • Maintain grant files and records.

    Fund Development Support (10%)

    • Assist with donor stewardship materials, presentations, and impact updates.
    • Conduct basic prospect and funder research.
    • Help organize fundraising and community engagement activities.
    • Support fee-for-service and partnership tracking as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • One to three years of experience in nonprofit administration, community programs, grants, evaluation, or related fields.
    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
    • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and data management systems.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
    • Commitment to youth leadership, racial equity, and community power-building.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in community-based organizations, youth development, organizing, or advocacy.
    • Familiarity with grant processes and nonprofit fundraising.
    • Experience with data collection and reporting.
    • Bilingual and bicultural skills are highly valued.

    Compensation

    Comunidad offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development in a mission-driven environment. $60,320- $68,640 full-time annually, based on experience,
