We are a 501(c)(3), faith-based nonprofit that administers child sponsorship programs for our international ministry partners. Through education, healthcare, nutrition, discipleship, and community development, sponsorship creates tangible, lasting impact in the lives of children and families.     Position Overview

    The Sponsorship Programs Manager (Nonprofit) ensures the accurate and timely execution of partner deliverables across multiple international child sponsorship programs. Success in this role requires strong learning ability, attention to detail, comfort working with databases, ability to manage multiple priorities and a commitment to mission-driven work.

    Key Responsibilities

    Partner & Deliverable Oversight (45%)

    • Serve as primary lead for mid-to-large sponsorship partners and manage their annual calendars.
    • Oversee the creation and production of all related print and campaign materials.
    • Handle partner communications and inquiries, and perform tasks to fulfill commitments outlined in the scope of work.

    Database Management & Operational Accuracy (35%)

    • Maintain and update records in our database, correcting discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
    • Coordinate program workflows, including tracking progress, managing transitions, and handling case records.
    • Monitor sponsor-child touchpoints to ensure all required activities are completed on time.

    Team Supervision and Escalations (20%)

    • Supervise and support direct reports, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
    • Handle elevated sponsor situations with professionalism.
    • Contribute to documentation of processes and workflow improvements.
    • Maintain hands-on knowledge of all program processes and use internal project management tools to guide and support the team.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience managing and performing administrative or program tasks accurately, following detailed procedures.
    • Strong proficiency in database systems (Salesforce preferred) and Excel.
    • Proven ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience supervising or delegating work to others.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
    • Alignment with BrightPoint’s faith-based mission and values.
    • Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience in child sponsorship, donor management, or nonprofit operations.
    • Recent hands-on Salesforce or other database experience.
    • Adobe InDesign experience.
    • Experience using AI tools, WordPress, or basic HTML.
    • Spanish proficiency.

    Work Environment

    • In-office role in a shared workspace environment.
    • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative setting with daily team interaction.
    • Periodic lifting of boxes, duffle bags, and suitcases up to 50 pounds may be required.
    • Office is located on the second floor with no elevator access.
