About The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF-USA)

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in Pakistan is a globally recognized education nonprofit transforming lives through access to quality education. TCF was started in 1995 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to bring about social change through education. In 30 years, it has built and operates 2,261 purpose-built schools providing quality education to 320,000 children, with an all-female faculty of 16,500 teachers.

TCF is recognized as the largest independent private network of schools in the world and the largest private employer of women in Pakistan. By building schools within underserved communities and delivering high quality, values driven education, TCF is breaking cycles of poverty and empowering the next generation of leaders, professionals, and change makers.
