    Role Overview:

    As the Assistant Manager - Partnerships & Fundraising, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding our portfolio of high-impact financial partnerships. You will support fundraising strategy, manage donor relationships, and ensure high-quality proposal development and reporting. This role requires strong ownership, proactive coordination across teams, and close collaboration with senior leadership to sustain relationships with corporates, international foundations, and multilateral agencies.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    1. Fundraising Strategy & Business Development
    • Support the implementation of the fundraising strategy across corporate, philanthropic, and institutional donors.
    • Identify and pursue new domestic and international funding opportunities.
    • Monitor donor portals, track relevant grant opportunities, and contribute to pipeline development.
    • Support proactive partnership cultivation, outreach planning, partner mapping, and strategic follow-ups.
    • Support account stewardship with a focus on long-term relationship building and renewals.
    1. Proposal Development & Reporting
    • Lead coordination for the development of high-quality proposals, concept notes, presentations, and donor reports.
    • Ensure proposals are well-structured, accurately budgeted, and aligned with donor priorities.
    • Coordinate inputs from program, communications, and finance teams to ensure timely submissions.
    • Support the development of partner review materials, including donor decks, quarterly review packs, and leadership-ready summaries.
    1. Donor Relationship Management
    • Manage ongoing engagement with assigned donors through meetings, review calls, field visits, and volunteering initiatives.
    • Ensure timely, thoughtful communication and support donor retention and renewal efforts.
    • Coordinate donor visits, project walkthroughs, and partner engagements (including occasional travel).
    1. Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Liaise with program, finance, and communications teams to gather data, updates, impact stories, and financial information.
    • Ensure internal alignment on donor commitments, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Support coordination between program delivery and financial reporting to ensure timely utilization updates and compliance.
    1. Knowledge, System & Communications Management
    • Maintain and regularly update the donor database, grant tracker, reporting calendars, and contact records.
    • Support documentation and compliance processes related to incoming grants and donations.
    • Contribute to fundraising collaterals, including brochures, decks, newsletters, and impact notes.
    • Support positioning and messaging efforts to enhance donor visibility and engagement.
    1. Innovation & Strategic Positioning
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the donor experience and fundraising outcomes.
    • Support efforts to position road safety within broader development themes such as public health, gender equity, and urban development.

    Required Qualifications & Experiences:

    • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, donor management, or proposal development (non-profit or CSR experience preferred).
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM platforms is preferred.
    • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver within tight timelines, and work comfortably in cross-functional environments.
    • Travel: Comfort with occasional travel for partner engagements, donor visits, and field walkthroughs.
    • Bonus: Experience engaging with major International/Indian Foundations and/or Family offices is a distinct advantage.
