    Description

    With direction from the Executive Director, the Memory Center Director supervises the daily operations of the department. This includes, but is not limited to: funder compliance, operations management, staff recruitment/development/supervision, program management and development, and managing the strategic direction and growth of the Memory Center.

    • Work with the Executive Director to provide strategic leadership to the department consistent with the organizational mission, values, and culture.
    • Co-develop the design, best practices, service delivery, and evaluation of the department for the purpose of measuring the impact of programs services and scaling the results.
    • Responsible for maintaining and increasing program participation and service utilization across all departments to ensure funding continuity, and identify new ones.
    • Implement strategic and tactical initiatives and processes that optimize programmatic audits and enhance services that improve the quality of life of all participants.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of community outreach and initiatives and strategies to strengthen community engagement across various stakeholder.
    • Represent Riverstone and the Memory Center positively to stakeholders and community and help manage external relationships and maintain and foster collaborations and institutional partnerships with other CBO’s, and governmental organizations.
    • Prepare high quality programmatic and financial reports, work plans and documents for supervisors, city agencies, and private funders.
    • Manage the reimbursement structure with the fiscal department to ensure fiscal efficacy and responsibility.
    • Support the Assistant Director in supervising program staff, interns, and consultants and well as compliance and adherence with funder mandates.
    • Coordinate with the administrative, Care Manager, and program staff to ensure that families receive all necessary help with entitlement applications and other services, which they may need.
    • Supervise the Assistant Director of their management of all program activities involved with the safety, compliance, and effective operation, as well as participant care plans of the Memory Center.
    • Under the absence of the Assistant Director and key staff coordinate and supervise and maintain client’s records, statistics as required (SOFA), program attendance, transportation, monthly inventory, intakes, referrals and case notes.
    • Provide training and guidance for all program staff that will provide helpful skills as well as any necessary training needed to be in accordance with the DOH/ State/City requirements.
    • Other tasks related to the successful functioning of the Memory Center, as determined by the Executive Director
