    About the role:

    The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the highest quality of financial management while adhering to best practices and statutory standards. This leadership role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring robust compliance across all project accounts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Management & Reporting: Manage project account dashboards for budget preparation and expense tracking. Prepare monthly/quarterly "Budget vs. Actuals" reports and comprehensive MIS reports to support informed decision-making.
    • Grant & Donor Coordination: Raise grant requests based on incurred expenses and track income recognized from clients. Liaise with donors to provide transparent financial reports in required formats.
    • Compliance & Audit: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings, returns, and payments. Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
    • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day tasks including General Ledger reconciliation, TDS, and payroll management. Verify the authenticity and validity of all staff and vendor bills before processing payments.
    • Strategy & Collaboration: Oversee financial forecasting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial strategies with organizational goals.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Education: Graduation with C.A. Inter or CA preferred.
    • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience specifically within the NGO or Education sector.
    • Technical Skills: Mandatory experience with generally accepted accounting principles and Tally software. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) is required.
    • Communication: Strong communication skills in both English and Hindi.
