    Description

    The Community Engagement & Outreach Specialist serves as a key ambassador for the CELL, helping build awareness, participation, and community partnerships that advance our mission of creating safer communities through education. This role is responsible for developing relationships with schools, colleges, civic organizations, businesses, faith communities, and community groups; recruiting and coordinating group visits; conducting presentations; representing the CELL at community events; and helping visitors engage with our exhibit and educational programs.

    Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and at least two years of experience in community engagement, outreach, education, nonprofit programs, admissions, visitor services, business development, or a related field. The ideal candidate is an outgoing communicator with strong public speaking, relationship-building, and organizational skills who enjoys connecting people to meaningful experiences and opportunities.

    This hybrid position is based in Denver, Colorado, with occasional evening and weekend commitments. Salary range is $55,000–$70,000, commensurate with experience.
