Job Purpose
The HR Manager serves as a key member of the Operations team, providing leadershipand expertise acrosscore human resourcesfunctions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and payroll.
The HR Manager contributes to a positive, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture by advisingstaff and managers, developing and maintaining HR practices and policies, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Compensation and Benefits
The startingannual salary range for this position is $77,500-$85,925. We offer a comprehensive and generousbenefits program, including:
Insurance
We offer medical,dental, and visionbenefits, with 100% of employeepremiums paid for by AFJ. Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insuranceare provided at no cost to employees. AFJ also provides access to an employee assistance program for physical and mental well-being.

Time Off
AFJ offers a generous time off policy, including vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, and bereavement leave. AFJ observes 12 holidaysthroughout the year and additionally closes between December 24 and January 1.
Parental Leave
Eligible employees may take up to sixteen(16) total weeks of leave in connection with the birth of the employee's child, placement of a child with the employee for adoption, or gainingof a foster child. AFJ/AFJAction provides eligible employees with twelve (12) weeks of fully paid parentalleave for purposes of bonding with a new baby following a birth orplacement of a child for adoption or gaining of a foster child.
