The Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness is hiring an Operations and Programs Manager who will ensure smooth internal operations and contribute to the organization’s strength and resilience. This person will serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director and provide critical support to manage projects and implement strategies for our county-wide coalition of housing and service providers and community advocates. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position that reports to the Executive Director.

The Operations and Programs Manager is a new, critical leadership role in a small, dynamic, and highly collaborative membership organization. Primary areas of responsibility include: 1) Internal Operations including fiscal management and data management 2). Programmatic management including project management, staff supervision, and organizational strategy implementation. The person in this role will focus roughly 70% on Operations and 30% on Programs. We seek candidates with solid applied skills in general (non-profit) business operations, strong project management skills, and proven experience as a supervisor and leader.

Working Conditions
Regular full-time Coalition staff are expected to work in person most of the work week: we have a limited hybrid model of in-person and remote work. This position is eligible for limited remote work (one day a week) upon approval of the supervisor after the initial 90-day onboarding and training period. We take seriously our responsibility to protect staff and community health and limit the spread of communicable diseases. Workplace health protocols are guided by the best current information and guidance from local and state public health agencies. The Coalition strongly encourages staff to be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations.
Work performance includes long periods of sitting, working on a computer. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis. Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours are required. The Coalition offices are located on the third floor of an older building without elevator access. Stairs are steep.

Salary and Benefits
Salary range (depending on experience): $90,000.00 - 110,000.00 annually (exempt)

Retirement: SEP IRA employer contribution equal to 6% of salary (percentage is established annually through budgeting process and subject to change). Flexible Paid Time Off (20 days plus holidays.)
