DESCRIPTION: The Parkinson’s Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with Parkinson’s disease by enhancing care and advancing research toward a cure. We harness the energy, experience, and passion of the global Parkinson’s community to drive our mission forward.
Community Partners in Parkinson’s Care is a program designed to educate and empower care staff in providing high-quality care to individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD) in various care settings, including skilled nursing homes, assisted living communities, in-patient rehabilitation centers & home care/hospice agencies.
PRIMARY ROLE: Community Partner’s Trainers are subject matter experts in Parkinson’s care in senior living communities and home care agencies. This position encompasses three roles: educator, mentor, and brand ambassador for the Community Partners in Parkinson’s Care program.
We are seeking five (5) Trainers who will share the responsibilities outlined below while collectively working within the 20-hour/month time commitment. Trainers will start onboarding in May 2026 and shadow current National Co-Directors up through Sept. 2026. From September to December 2026 start taking over all Key Responsibilities over a time period where the Program Founders train, observe and give feedback for maximum outcomes and results. By December 2026 be fully trained up to oversee the training program.
