    Role Overview:

    The Head of People & Culture will lead and scale human capital and organizational development functions, a fast-growing nonprofit dedicated to foundational learning. You will build and strengthen HR systems, talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, culture, and people operations, partnering closely with senior leadership to nurture a high-performance, values-driven workplace that enables the organizations growth and impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

    • Create a robust HCM strategy along with the COO and your team and lead its execution through the year
    • Design, plan and execute an inclusive and rigorous selection process, from identifying hiring requirements to successful onboarding
    • Identify and setup talent acquisition pipelines and leverage such networks to find the best talent.
    • Leverage data to build a more cohesive understanding of the existing workforce strengths, gaps/risks, and strategise accordingly.

    Culture and Team Management:

    • Review, design, and execute improvements to organisational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
    • Liaison with sub-vertical, domain and team leads regarding vertical climate, employee well￾being, project updates, proposals, and planning
    • Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with Vertical and Sub-vertical heads on special projects
    • Manage team spaces to foster agility, and cohesiveness and maximise the impact driven by the organisation

    Learning & Development

    • Nurture development of an organisational culture that emphasizes on quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, high performance and aligns to core value
    • Lead the L&D sub-vertical to strategise, create and implement a framework that provides diverse and need-specific learning opportunities for all team members
    • Lead the implementation of performance management systems that include performance

    HR Operations

    • Supervise effective execution of HR Operations systems such as payroll, HRIS, goal setting process, etc. to ensure optimal organisational efficiency and employee satisfaction
    • Design Human Resources policies that are fair, transparent, compliant and in alignment to core values.

    Required Qualifications & Skills:

    • Relevant Bachelors degree (Masters preferred).
    • 7–10 years in HR/People & Culture, with managerial experience.
    • Experience in nonprofit or development sector preferred.
    • Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse team of people
