    Description

    About MoFi

MoFi is a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that expands economic opportunity for underserved individuals and communities across the Rocky Mountains, Pacific Northwest, and Great Plains. With offices in Missoula, Bozeman, Boise, and Salt Lake City, MoFi has been a leader in mission-driven lending for nearly 40 years, helping transform lives and communities through access to capital and business support.

Small business ownership is one of the most effective pathways out of poverty, second only to homeownership. Yet traditional lenders often exclude entrepreneurs due to credit scores, limited financial history, or lack of collateral. Since 1986, MoFi has focused on making the financial system work for everyone by removing these barriers and expanding access to opportunity for people and communities across the region

    Role Purpose

The Senior Salesforce Administrator leads and strengthens MoFi’s Salesforce environment to better support scalable, consistent, and efficient lending operations. This role focuses on improving how Salesforce and nCino work together, reducing manual work, and building a stronger system foundation for future automation and AI. This person will also partner closely with an external consultant, helping ensure system changes reflect MoFi’s real workflows, priorities, and lending model.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Salesforce Administration and System Leadership
    • Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce, ensuring stability, usability, and alignment with team needs
    • Lead system improvements that reduce manual work, streamline workflows, and improve visibility across teams
    • Manage user access, permissions, and configurations with a focus on both security and ease of use
    • Partner with internal teams to understand needs and translate them into practical system solutions
    • Maintain clear, usable documentation of system processes and changes
    • Develop and support training materials that improve adoption and consistency
    • Proactively identify and address system issues and opportunities for improvement
    1. nCino and Lending System Support
    • Build strong working knowledge of nCino and how it supports MoFi’s lending model
    • Support configuration, testing, and documentation of lending workflows
    • Partner with lending and operations teams to improve usability and consistency across the lending process
    • Help ensure systems support strong structuring and underwriting practices while reducing unnecessary complexity
    1. External Partnership
    • Partner with external consultants and vendors supporting initiatives
    • Help translate internal processes into clear requirements for system improvements
    • Ensure changes are practical, well implemented, and aligned with MoFi’s priorities
    • Support testing, rollout, and adoption of new functionality

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 6 years of Salesforce administration experience in a complex environment
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce data structure, permissions, and workflow design
    • Experience improving business processes through system changes, not just maintaining them
    • Ability to translate business needs into clear, practical system solutions
    • Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
    • Experience supporting or working alongside external consultants or vendors
    • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and system reliability
    • Clear communicator who can explain system changes in plain language
