Position Summary
The Chief Digital Media Officer is the architect and executive lead for Galvanize USA and Galvanize Action’s full content and audience ecosystem — a multi-brand, multi-platform media network designed to become a cultural force in the lives of 24 million women by 2030. This leader turns research-backed insights into high-performing, values-driven programming that earns attention, keeps audiences coming back, and measurably shifts worldview.
This role requires someone who can see the entire system — multiple brands, formats, platforms, and entities — and bring coherence, sequencing, and creative excellence to all of it. They hold the programming calendars, narrative arcs, production pipeline, and cross-entity compliance, ensuring paid and organic strategies work together to create sustained persuasion impact at scale.
They directly manage program directors, managers, producers, and coach teams to move with clarity, and build the operational infrastructure needed for a high-volume media operation. They balance the art and the science: creative instinct sharpened by audience insights, testing, evaluation, and a deep understanding of digital behavior.
Ideal Candidate
You are an ecosystem thinker, a strategist with a creative director’s eye, and an operator who can turn narrative strategy into a clear, cohesive programming plan. You understand what earns and sustains attention in a crowded digital landscape. You know how emotionally resonant content shifts worldview over time, and you have led teams that do this at scale.
You have built or run multi-brand media programs, know how to set a high creative bar, and can design the organizational structure and workflows required for fast, disciplined, audience-led experimentation. You are an exceptional people leader who provides clarity and confidence, and fosters a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continual learning.
You bring mastery of content ecosystems, platforms, audience growth, persuasive storytelling, and the responsible use of AI and insights to accelerate quality and velocity.
