    Description

Grace and Glory Kids is the U.S.-based nonprofit behind Grace and Glory Academy in Haiti. We provide education, care, and opportunity to children in one of the most challenging environments in the world.

We are hiring a Development Director who prospecting, asks, and closes with genuine conviction — not someone who waits for donors to come to them.

This is a front-line fundraising role. You will own the donor relationship from first contact to long-term partnership. You will be supported by a Development Assistant who handles CRM operations, stewardship logistics, and board reporting — freeing you to do what you do best: connect, ask, and grow revenue.

You thrive with autonomy. You hold yourself accountable without being pushed. You don't take "no" personally. And you believe that building generational access to education for children in Haiti is worth the grind.

If this role speaks to you as a calling — not just a paycheck — we want to hear from you.

    Who You Are

    Required

    • Minimum 3 years of direct fundraising, development, or business development experience with a proven track record of cultivating donors and closing gifts
    • Demonstrated comfort making direct financial asks and closing at major gift levels
    • Experience building donor pipelines from scratch or significantly growing an existing portfolio
    • Working knowledge of CRM systems and donor pipeline management
    • Experience in nonprofits; backgrounds in education, children's services, international development, healthcare foundations, or faith-based organizations are a plus
    • Candidates from B2B sales, wealth management, or business development with genuine passion for mission-driven work will also be considered

    Non-Negotiable

    • Hunter's discipline — you are energized by prospecting, booking meetings, and making asks
    • Relentless follow-through — you never let a donor feel forgotten
    • Self-directed and accountable — you set weekly goals, run your own cadence, and report progress honestly
    • Clear, confident communicator — you can tell the Grace & Glory story simply and make the ask directly
    • High integrity and mission-first humility — you represent Haiti and our partners with respect
    • Indomitable spirit — you don't take "no" personally; you adapt and persist

    Location: Remote

    Type: Full-Time

    Reports To: Board of Directors

Experience: 3+ years in fundraising or development

    Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 base with bonuses.

    Benefits

Flexible Schedule, Full Autonomy There is no clock to punch. You own your calendar. As long as you are consistently hitting your targets and advancing donor relationships, how you structure your time is yours to decide.

Dedicated Administrative Support You will have a part-time Development Assistant — 20 hours per week — handling CRM operations, stewardship logistics, grant administration, and board reporting. You stay in front of donors. The admin work is handled.

Performance Incentive Structure Baseline fundraise for this role is $200,000, PI calculated on the net above the baseline.

Direct Board Access You will have a dedicated Point of Contact on the Board — one person, clear communication, no noise.

A Mission Worth the Grind No health insurance is offered at this time. What we offer instead is meaningful work, real autonomy, uncapped upside, and the knowledge that what you build changes the lives of children in Haiti.
