    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Reporting to the Instructional Design Technologist of the Office of Faculty Development and Instructional Technology, the ePortfolio Program Assistant/College Assistant supports the ePortfolio program by providing technical assistance to students, faculty and staff members using ePortfolios.

    The ePortfolio Program Assistant/College Assistant performs duties and function in the following areas:

    • Provide user support for ePortfolio platforms, especially Digication, and possibly WordPress
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of support resources, including web content, manuals and how-to-guides
    • Support the development and delivery of trainings and events in a variety of delivery methods
    • Assist with platform administration, including user account maintenance
    • Maintain records of support services and other activities, and assist in the development of usage and other reports
    • Other duties as assigned

    Preferred Minimum Qualification:

    • High school diploma/GED

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree or higher
    • Experience with ePortfolio platforms, preferably Digication
    • Demonstrated ability to work with technology and eLearning tools, and to upskill quickly
    • Experience providing technology support
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity platforms
    • Experience creating and editing multimedia (e.g., recording presentations, editing videos, annotating, etc.)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Familiarity with WordPress-based platforms

    Note: This position is not open to current CUNY SPS students
