    Job Summary

    Child Development Department staff support the Neighborhood House mission framework and Strategic Plan by contributing to the school readiness of low-income children and supporting their parents, care givers and community. The primary responsibilities of the Center-Based Manager are to plan, coordinate and implement a high-quality, comprehensive early childhood center based program for children and their families; oversee daily program operation; guide and supervise staff in their provision of planning and implementing developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive curriculum for children and their families; and ensure that centers, classrooms and playgrounds are safe and promote learning across the five required domains.
