    Description

    About REACH CNY

REACH CNY is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families to live their healthiest lives. Through effective, inclusive, and community-driven programs, REACH CNY works alongside those it serves to improve health outcomes and strengthen long-term well-being.

Our vision is to be recognized as a regional leader in advancing health equity—partnering with individuals and families to help them thrive and building collaborative solutions that create lasting impact.

With an annual operating budget of approximately $2 million, REACH CNY is entering an important phase of growth and opportunity. We are seeking a leader who can build on our strong foundation while helping to shape and execute a clear vision for the future.

    The Opportunity

The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive of REACH CNY and is responsible for overall leadership, strategy, and operations. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will guide the organization through its next phase—strengthening programs, expanding funding, and deepening community impact.

We are looking for a leader who is as comfortable in a boardroom as they are in a community setting—someone who can connect with families, partners, funders, and stakeholders while also leading strategically at the organizational level. This individual will also bring a strong commitment to team leadership, with the ability to lead, support, and develop a dedicated staff while fostering a positive, high-performing, and collaborative work environment.

Experience in nonprofit leadership (or a related field) is important, along with a strong track record of managing complex budgets and navigating grant-funded environments. Experience in maternal/child health, public health, or human services is not required, but would be a strong asset.

The ideal candidate brings a deep commitment to health equity and social impact, along with the ability to communicate the REACH CNY story in a way that inspires staff, board members, community partners, and funders.

    • Represent REACH CNY in public settings, including media and community events as needed
