About HERF:

HERF - Health Education Rectitude Foundation is a legally registered CBO in Wakiso District, Uganda (UNGM 1270677). We work in community health, WASH, menstrual health, and youth empowerment serving 5,000+ people in Greater Kampala.

The Opportunity:

We seek a passionate Remote Volunteer Grant Writer to help us mobilize resources for health and education projects.

Responsibilities:

- Research funding opportunities (USAID, EU, UNICEF, Global Funds)

- Write concept notes, proposals, and donor letters

- Edit and improve existing proposals

- Maintain grants calendar and donor database

Qualifications:

- Excellent English writing

- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, research, or proposal development preferred

- Passion for global health and African community development

- Can commit 4-6 hours per week remotely

- Reliable internet

Commitment: Remote, 4-6 hrs/week, 3 months minimum, Flexible hours
