    Position Summary

    This position will support ICMAD’s programs by assisting with coordination, communication, participant engagement, and day-to-day administrative tasks. This person will report to the Executive Director and help ensure that workshops, events, and services run smoothly while maintaining a welcoming, organized, and mission-centered environment for single-parent families.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate logistics for wellness workshops, retreats, and support groups, including scheduling, venue setup, and material preparation.
    • Communicate with participants and community partners via phone, email, and text to confirm attendance, answer questions, and provide program updates.
    • Engage single parents and families in a compassionate, trauma-informed manner to build trust andencourage program participation.
    • Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and program outcomes to support continuous improvement and reporting.
    • Assist with volunteer coordination, including onboarding, task assignment, and recognition tostrengthen community networks.
    • Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as data entry, supply ordering, and correspondencealigned with ICMAD’s values of integrity and action.
    • Collaborate with volunteers and partners to ensure programs reflect ICMAD’s mission of emotional resilience and family transformation.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
    • Fluent in Spanish preferred.
    • At least 1 year of experience in program coordination, administrative support, or customer-facing roles in nonprofits, community services, or social programs. Experience in mental health, social work, or other human services field preferred.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required; must be able to drive to program sites, events, and partner locations as needed.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain detailed records.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging diverse populations compassionately and professionally.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Google Workspace) and basic data entry; familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom) a plus.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for program events.
