    About the role:

    The Coordinator – Skill Development will lead the design, implementation, and expansion of the formal-sector skilling and placement programme across Delhi NCR. The role involves programme management, strategy development, partnership building, fundraising, team leadership, and ensuring successful training and placement outcomes for young women.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Programme Strategy & Implementation
    • Lead overall planning, strategy development, and execution of the Skill Development Programme in Delhi NCR.
    • Design need-based, market-driven training modules aligned with current industry requirements.
    • Develop scale-up plans for Gurugram, Noida, and Faridabad after Phase I implementation in Delhi.
    • Ensure smooth operations across mobilization, training, job readiness, placement, and post-placement support.
    1. Training & Placement Management
    • Establish clear targets for training, certification, and job placements; monitor progress regularly.
    • Build systems for participant mobilization, assessments, and outcome tracking.
    • Develop and maintain strong employer networks for formal-sector placements across industries.
    • Oversee counseling, mentorship, and post-placement retention support for trainees.
    1. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Management
    • Build and manage partnerships with training institutes, employers, HR agencies, corporates, and government bodies.
    • Strengthen relationships with existing partners and identify new placement and training opportunities.
    • Represent the programme at external forums, meetings, and industry events.
    1. Fundraising & Proposal Development
    • Support fundraising efforts by identifying funding opportunities and drafting proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
    • Maintain donor relationships and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Contribute to programme budget planning and financial oversight.
    1. Team Leadership & Capacity Building
    • Build and manage a central team in Delhi and support teams across states.
    • Mentor field teams, trainers, and project coordinators across locations.
    • Conduct regular team reviews, strengthen capacities, and foster a high-performance culture.
    • Ensure alignment with organizational values and a community-driven approach.
    1. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
    • Track programme indicators using MIS tools and ensure data accuracy and data-driven decision-making.
    • Conduct regular field visits to monitor training centers, mobilization activities, and employer sites.
    • Prepare high-quality narrative and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelors/Masters degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Management, or related fields.
    • 6–8 years of experience in skill development, livelihoods, youth skilling, or employment-focused programmes (preferably working with women or marginalized communities).
    • Demonstrated experience in team management, partnership development, and fundraising.
    • Strong understanding of the Delhi NCR employment ecosystem.
    • Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English, along with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
    • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Delhi NCR.
