    Description

    Position Summary: The FHIP Program Manager will support the Fair Housing Program in carrying out the tasks for the FHIP Program. They will have a wide-range of tasks. The applicant must: Be organized in their work to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and have excellent oral and written communication skills in their work negotiating with supervisors and clients. In addition they must be able to multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Finally, the Program Manager must have a profound commitment to civil rights and social justice.

    • Manages the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the fair housing department.
    • Organizational development: assist in creation of office policies, procedures and systems; participate in planning and implementing capacity building activities.
    • Staff supervision: including identifying staffing needs; hiring and evaluating program staff and interns.
    • In addition to the duties outlined above, the incumbent may be required to assume other duties as determined with the Executive Director.
    • Prepares correspondence, memoranda, forms, reports, leases, proposals, purchase requisitions, agreements and contracts ; utilizes computer hardware/software to enter, store, compute and print out data; sets up and maintains hard copy back up documentation; keeps agency calendar.
    • Devises forms and procedures to facilitate and improve recordkeeping; establishes and maintains a variety of files and records; posts, audits.
    • Researches, compiles and types analytical reports; compiles, types and presents a variety of statistical and narrative documents/ reports.
