    Description

    Grace & Glory Kids is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Philanthropy Coordinator to support our growing development efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys systems, data, organization, and mission-driven work behind the scenes that helps fundraising succeed.

    The Philanthropy Coordinator will manage donor and CRM operations, process and track gifts, generate reports, support donor stewardship activities, assist with prospect research, and help maintain accurate fundraising records and workflows. This person will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and play an important role in strengthening donor relationships and organizational effectiveness.

    The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a growing nonprofit environment. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and commitment to excellence are essential.

    Successful outcomes for this position include:

    • A secure, well-functioning database with quality input and outputs that support the donor journey
    • Improved insight and intelligence to aid and inform sustainable short- and long-term growth in revenue for Grace & Glory
    • Strengthening of internal supports to enable fundraising staff to build a pipeline, engage, cultivate, and steward key constituents.

    Database Management

    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the organization’s CRM/donor database. Manage and maintain donor CRM records and ensure data integrity.
    • Actively seek to identify, report, improve and solve process inefficiencies to better serve donor and fundraiser needs.
    • Help organize fundraising systems, files, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to document, establish, and share best practices in data entry, enrichment, querying, reporting, donor communication and stewardship.

    Donor Services and Stewardship

    • Develop and maintain clear and accurate donor operations standard operating procedures, including best practices guidelines and standards.
    • Provide in-depth intelligence and analysis needed to enable marketing to drive prospect management and pipeline development.
    • Oversee the development and distribution of timely, accurate gift acknowledgements.
    • Oversee the quality recording and reporting of donations that need special attention, i.e., gifts from members of the Board of Directors, stock gifts, planned gifts, international gifts, etc.
    • Support prospect research and pipeline tracking.
    • Provide administrative support for development activities as needed.

    Data Analytics & Reporting

    • Conduct analysis and reporting on financial information, donor trends, constituent engagement trends, and trends in other areas to provide insight and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Maintain internal controls and assistance for reconciliation with Finance.
    • Support writing, data collection and analysis, graphs and other information that may be needed for the annual report, annual audit, reporting for board meetings, and other reporting as needed.

    Gift Processing

    • Direct all aspects of gift processing, implementing effective procedures and monitoring service levels required to maintain donor relationships and ensure accurate processing of donor gifts.
    • Enter and track donations received and generate acknowledgment information.

    Qualifications and Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    • A minimum of 5 years of database experience, preferably with a nonprofit CRM/database and payment processing system
    • High degree of data integrity, accuracy, and detail orientation
    • Excellent relationship management and development skills
    • Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools
    • An understanding of basic accounting principles and terms
    • Extensive analysis skills
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications quickly and effectively
    • Strong record keeping, organizational, interpersonal, writing, and communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
    • In-depth knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
    • Ability to think strategically and implement effective plans to achieve revenue goals
    • Proven success in organizing work, meeting strict deadlines, and setting priorities
    • Ability to prioritize, perform and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
    • A high degree of diplomacy, professionalism, sensitivity, and respect for the confidentiality of certain data and projects is required.
    • Commitment and enthusiasm for Grace & Glory’s mission

    Level of Language Proficiency

    English, French Fluency is a Plus
