    Description

    Full Time, Hybrid - New York City

    CALO is a nonprofit peer learning network for mission driven leaders. We support nonprofit CEOs and Executive Directors through facilitated peer forums, leadership development, and community building. We are seeking a strategic, relationship driven, and highly professional leader with deep familiarity with the nonprofit sector in the United States.

    The USA coordinator will lead CALO’s growth across the US, with a primary focus on building new forums, recruiting nonprofit CEOs and Executive directors, strengthening chapters, developing partnerships, and leading fundraising efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and launch new leadership peer learning forums for nonprofit EDs, including identifying and recruiting suitable members, thoughtfully curating group composition, supporting their onboarding, and ensuring a high-quality forum experience and ongoing support
    • Organize local programming, including forum related trainings, leadership workshops, enrichment activities, and annual chapter events
    • Build a strong, connected, and meaningful chapter community rooted in trust, inclusion and shared purpose
    • Initiate partnerships with organizations and individuals to advance CALO’s mission
    • Lead all fundraising efforts in the United States together with CALO’s CEO, including cultivating relationships with donors and foundations
    • Oversee core chapter operations, ensuring smooth logistics, communication and coordination across forums and activities
    • Manage administrative tasks including invoices, annual budgets, and ensuring legal compliance

    Ideal Qualifications

    • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
    • Preference will be given to experience in the non-profit sector in the US, preferably in leadership, external relations or network-building roles
    • Proven track record of designing and leading projects or programs from concept to execution
    • Experience writing work plans and executing them effectively
    • Ability to lead, inspire, and build meaningful professional communities with leaders from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
    • Comfortable and effective in fundraising, partnerships, and public-facing roles
    • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, self-directed environment and is comfortable working with a high level of independence as CALO's lead presence in the region.

    Compensation

    Salary range: $55,000-65,000/year plus benefits, based on qualifications and experience
