    Description

    The Bergel Institute is dedicated to the advancement of human knowledge and the human condition. The Institute focuses on six major areas: Economics, Science, Technology, Consciousness, Health, and Culture. The common theme in all of the Institute’s work is the pursuit of what is possible. It brings a commitment to critical thinking and the questioning of accepted norms and approaches to issues that lie at the foundation of what we think and how we live. In just three months, the Institute has experienced an outpouring of interest and is looking to increase its staff to meet the growing demand.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Identify and secure partnerships in each sector
    2. Lead individual, corporate, and foundation communications
      1. Write letters, proposals, emails, and all communications and correspondence needed to grow the organization
      2. Schedule meetings and/or calls with individuals and organizations
    3. Document via video and in written form the work of the Institute and its staff, Fellows, etc.
      1. Strong ability to create and edit video content for high-level publication and utilization
    4. Manage and grow the Institute’s social media platforms
      1. Work with staff in developing content
      2. Utilize graphic design skills
    5. Oversee the CRM and related activity
    6. Develop and manage seasonal campaigns
    7. Support leadership with special projects tied to growth and visibility
    8. Travel
      1. Expect to travel nationally and internationally as needed
        1. Travel will occur with executive staff members or on your own
      2. If working remotely, travel to the Florida office at least once per quarter for team meetings

    Skills and Experience:

    1. Minimum five years in the marketing and/or development field
    2. Excellent writing and editing skills
    3. Comfort with social media platforms and newer technologies
    4. Desire to work in a fast-paced organization
    5. Ability to work effectively in a group or on your own
    6. Work with a high level of organization and follow-through
