Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Therapist or Registered Mental Health Intern to provide trauma-informed therapy to children and families. This role includes both specialized abuse-focused treatment and general mental health counseling.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy for children impacted by trauma/abuse
- Deliver mental health counseling for children and families with ongoing treatment needs
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment modalities
- Conduct psychological testing and assessments as appropriate
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning
- Facilitate group therapy and parenting education programs
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and case records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) case reviews
- Complete required training and continuing education
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed in Florida (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) or Registered Intern working toward licensure
- Experience working with children, families, or trauma populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and child development
Preferred:
- Experience in a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), child welfare, or dependency system
- Training in evidence-based trauma therapies (TF-CBT, PCIT, etc.)
- Bi-lingual helpful
