    About the Organization

    Jiv Daya Foundation is a mission-driven healthcare foundation is expanding its oncology initiatives to improve access to cancer care, education, and treatment for underserved patients. Through collaborations with physicians, academic institutions, community oncology practices, hospitals, and healthcare organizations, the Foundation supports programs focused on oncology education, patient access, and clinical innovation.

    We are seeking a physician who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in oncology and interested in building a career that combines medical leadership, patient access initiatives, education, research, and strategic program development.

    This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys staying at the forefront of oncology, working with leading experts, and contributing to programs that directly improve patient outcomes while remaining intellectually engaged with cutting-edge cancer research.

    Position Overview

    • Oncology Patient Access & Foundation Programs

    The Foundation is launching a major initiative focused on expanding access to generic and biosimilar oncology therapies for patients in India who would otherwise be unable to receive treatment.

    The physician will help oversee clinical reviews, patient eligibility assessments, treatment monitoring, and program quality initiatives while collaborating with oncologists, cancer centers, and healthcare institutions.

    • Oncology Education & Research Programs

    The physician will review and synthesize emerging oncology data, support development of educational content, participate in physician education programs, and collaborate with leading oncology experts to translate complex clinical research into practical insights for practicing oncologists.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical Program Leadership

    • Review patient cases submitted through Foundation-supported oncology programs.
    • Assess eligibility for treatment assistance programs and access initiatives.
    • Collaborate with treating oncologists and cancer centers regarding patient management.
    • Support monitoring of treatment outcomes, safety, and follow-up.
    • Assist in developing clinical guidelines, review frameworks, and decision-support tools.
    • Identify opportunities to improve patient access and program effectiveness.

    Oncology Research & Medical Education

    • Analyze and interpret emerging oncology data and landmark studies.
    • Monitor developments involving:
      • Solid tumors (lung, breast, colorectal, gastrointestinal, prostate, renal, gynecologic cancers)
      • Hematologic malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma)
      • Novel targeted therapies, immunotherapies, antibody-drug conjugates, and cell therapies
    • Develop educational slide presentations and medical content.
    • Participate in scientific meetings and major oncology conferences.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and oncology experts.

    Educational Programs

    • Moderate virtual educational programs for oncology healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in live educational meetings and scientific discussions.
    • Support faculty engagement and scientific content development.
    • Present and discuss emerging clinical data with physicians and healthcare stakeholders.

    Program Development & Strategic Initiatives

    • Support expansion of new oncology programs and partnerships.
    • Assist with data analysis, outcomes reporting, and program evaluation.
    • Identify gaps in care delivery and recommend innovative solutions.
    • Contribute to long-term strategy surrounding patient access and oncology education.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • MD degree (or equivalent physician qualification)
    • Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, or related specialties
    • Strong interest in oncology, clinical research, and medical education
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and clinical data
    • Willingness to travel regularly, including weekends
