    Gateways’ mission is to enable students with disabilities and diverse learning needs to succeed in Jewish educational settings and participate meaningfully in Jewish life. Gateways partners with schools and communities to provide special education services, expertise, and support.

    About this Opportunity

    The Operations Systems Coordinator strengthens the organization's internal systems and coordinates operational processes. This role improves systems, workflows, automations, and data while helping staff use technology effectively.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain AI-powered solutions, including workflows, to improve organizational effectiveness, automate processes, and enhance access to information across the organization.
    • Coordinate organization-wide operational projects and maintain project plans.
    • Review, access, document, and improve organizational processes with standard operating procedures.
    • Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Asana, Bloomerang, QuickBase (or another low-code app platform), and other organizational platforms or business applications
    • Coordinate system implementations, integrations, and vendor relationships.
    • Develop Asana templates, forms, reminders, and automated notifications.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline work through automation with Power Automate, Zapier, Make or similar tools.
    • Support office administration.
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics while driving continuous improvements in data quality and reporting processes.
    • Develop and maintain user documentation, deliver staff training, and provide cross-organizational support for business systems, automations, and process improvements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 3+ years of operations, managing systems and technology platforms, project coordination, or nonprofit administration experience.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as relationship building and operational assessment skills.
    • Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency and ability to learn new technology.

    Benefits

    This is a hybrid position, and working outside of Massachusetts is possible provided that applicants are able to travel to Massachusetts for large meetings at least three times per year. Accommodations can be negotiated.

    Gateways offers all employees working a minimum of four hours per week for the term of their employment with the option of enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account.

    Gateways offers a Retirement Plan for employees. Gateways contributes a dollar-for-dollar match up to 3% of the employee’s salary, after a 90-day waiting period for new hires. All employees are vested immediately.
