    Description

    Crossroads Urban Center is a private, nonprofit, community organization working on social justice issues by providing direct services, advocacy, and community organizing assistance to thousands of low-income, disadvantaged, disabled, and minority people in Utah. The Administrative Assistant for Information & Technology is directly responsible to the Executive Director. This is a permanent, part time, hourly position.

    Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology preferred; or
      • Two years of experience in lieu of above.
      • Experience with CRM software.
      • Web design skills (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
      • Proficiency with Macintosh computer systems, including application deployment, software upgrades, back-up management, etc.
      • Good writing and interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities

      • Computer software, hardware and network maintenance.
      • Responsible for computer network security and backups.
      • Serve as a resource person (help desk) for other staff on computer questions & technical problems.
      • Help guide technology purchases.
      • Maintain mail lists and databases for the agency.
      • Assist with mass email communication.
      • Coordinate mailings for fundraising, food drives, special events, and meetings.
      • Data entry, report generation, and keeping donor/volunteer contact info up-to-date.
      • Provide administrative and logistical support to other projects as requested.
      • Help as needed with pick-ups, deliveries, errands, etc.
      • Assist in organizing special projects and activities as needed.
      • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

    Benefits: Hourly compensation for approximately 20 hours/week. Paid time off. Access to health insurance. Flexible work environment and schedule.
