Interim Development Operations Consultant

Interim Development Operations Support | Approximately 5–8 hours/week

Row New York is seeking an experienced development operations professional to provide interim, part-time support to our fundraising team through December 2026, with the opportunity to re-evaluate at the end of the year. We are looking for someone who can step in quickly, keep our systems accurate and organized, and ensure the operational side of the development team runs smoothly.

Responsibilities may include:

• Salesforce management, data entry, data hygiene, record-keeping and troubleshooting
• Gift processing, acknowledgment tracking, and reconciliation
• Maintaining fundraising trackers, spreadsheets, and dashboards
• Producing regular fundraising, pipeline, and revenue reports
• Supporting moves management and ensuring next steps and donor activity are captured accurately
• Helping improve development processes, documentation, and workflows
• Providing ad hoc operational support to the CEO and development team as needed

We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of professional experience in development operations who is fluent in nonprofit fundraising operations and Salesforce; a Salesforce administrator credential, or equivalent knowledge, is preferred. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and can successfully and reliably work independently. This interim support work will be performed remotely.

We anticipate this would be an approximately 5–8 hour per week engagement to start. While this is initially an interim consulting engagement, there is opportunity to transition to an ongoing contract or longer-term part-time employment opportunity.

Budget:

The budget for this engagement is $35 - $45 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. The successful applicant will be required to sign a standard consultant agreement. This is not a benefits eligible position.
