    Description

    This position is with Leading Youth Through Empowerment (LYTE) through Delaware's AmeriCorps Program. The Outreach and Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in uplifting student voices and strengthening their connection to LYTE’s community of support. This position leads outreach through four main channels: the Student Sponsorship Program, monthly newsletter, Instagram content, and website updates. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and motivated to share student experiences and highlight the impact of LYTE’s programs.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Amplify student voices by creating and sharing stories, testimonials, and highlights that showcase their journeys and successes.
    • Manage and grow outreach channels including the Student Sponsorship Program, monthly newsletter, Instagram, and website updates.
    • Engage students, families, and supporters through consistent, accessible, and mission-driven communication.
    • Collaborate with program staff and students to capture authentic content that reflects LYTE’s impact.
    • Track engagement and feedback across platforms to strengthen communication strategies and deepen community connection.
