Description
We are seeking a visionary, passionate, and dedicated Co-Executive Director to join our leadership team on a volunteer basis. Working side-by-side with the Founder and Executive Director, you will co-lead the strategic direction, operational management, and community impact of the International Humanitarian Action for Integrated Development (IHAID).
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape a growing non-profit, expand our network, and drive sustainable development initiatives both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Co-develop and execute the organization's strategic plan, programs, and vision.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, legal compliance, and organizational growth.
Community Engagement & Partnership: represent IHAID at local events, build strategic alliances with community partners, and enhance our local footprint.
Fundraising & Advocacy: Assist in grant writing, fundraising campaigns, and digital advocacy to support our core missions.
Required Qualifications & Background
Location: Must currently reside in the state of Nevada, with a strong preference for candidates living in or near Reno to facilitate local networking, events, and in-person collaboration.
Non-profit Expertise: Proven experience in the non-profit sector with a strong mastery of 501(c)(3) rules, governance, operations, and compliance in the United States.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Professional proficiency or fluency in French and/or Haitian Creole is highly preferred to support our international communication and advocacy.
Legal Standing: Must have a clean legal record with no criminal history or legal issues in the United states (a standard background check may be required).
Commitment: A strong alignment with humanitarian values, civic responsibility, and sustainable community development.
