    Description

    The Programs & Partnerships Manager is a newly created role that will work across Old Pine Community Center’s diverse and expanding offering of youth, food, and community programs. This position is an opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience, grow in responsibility, and make a significant difference in the community.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programs & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for helping continue and grow the organization’s programs – directly involved throughout the planning, implementation, and evaluation. A successful candidate will be highly organized, show curiosity, share ideas, and work well independently.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Serve as lead or support staff with volunteers during weekday cooking and grocery packing shifts
    • Manage the food deliveries and pickups process throughout the week
    • Create and maintain food inventory system and cleaning procedures
    • Serve as backup staff coverage for Afterschool and Summer Camp programs
    • Develop service-learning projects for youth and families, including neighboring schools as well as Afterschool and Summer Camp programs
    • Build community relationships through food drives, volunteer projects, and other related activities
    • Participate in bi-weekly staff leadership meetings
    • Other relevant duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5 years of direct program development and delivery experience, preferably with food and/or youth
    • Ability to work on your feet and lift at least 25lbs
    • Comfort leading volunteers and presenting to groups
    • Experience working in a nonprofit environment
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google (Gmail, Docs, and Sheets) products
    • Successful completion of background screening including PA Child Abuse History, PA State Police Criminal History, FBI Clearance, and NSOR Verification Certificate
