    Description

    Addition Collective is seeking a Paid Media Specialist contractor to support our campaigns' list-building and supporter acquisition efforts. In this role, you'll execute and optimize paid advertising campaigns across major digital platforms, working closely with our Digital and Data Manager to expand the organization's reach and drive meaningful engagement.

    This is a hands-on, executional role focused on day-to-day campaign management — ideal for a freelancer or consultant with a strong track record in digital advertising and a passion for mission-driven work.

    What you'll do

    Campaign implementation

    • Set up and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, and other digital channels
    • Implement targeting strategies developed in collaboration with the Digital and Data Manager
    • Launch and manage campaigns across multiple audience segments and objectives

    Optimization and testing

    • Monitor campaign performance and adjust budgets, targeting, and bidding strategies
    • Conduct A/B tests on audiences, ad formats, and campaign structures
    • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce cost per acquisition

    Tracking and reporting

    • Ensure proper campaign tracking via pixels, conversion events, and analytics tools
    • Monitor key metrics including reach, engagement, conversions, and cost efficiency
    • Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
    • Troubleshoot tracking and ad delivery issues as they arise

    Collaboration

    • Coordinate with campaign teams on ad creatives and messaging implementation
    • Support the rollout of new advertising platforms or campaign initiatives
    • Align campaign execution with Addition Collective's broader digital strategy

    What we're looking for

    Required

    • 2–4 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns
    • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and other major ad platforms
    • Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and campaign optimization techniques
    • Experience with analytics, reporting tools, and conversion tracking (pixels, events)
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
    • Willingness to experiment with and adapt to new tools and platforms

    Preferred

    • Experience working with advocacy, nonprofit, political, or mission-driven organizations
    • Background in supporter acquisition campaigns
    • Familiarity with CRM platforms and supporter data workflows

    Engagement details

    This is a contractor role. The specialist will work on a retainer basis and is expected to operate independently, managing their own schedule while meeting agreed-upon deliverables and deadlines. The contractor will coordinate directly with the Digital and Data Manager.
