    No Limits for deaf Children & families is seeking a highly creative, organized, and mission-driven Communications & Marketing Associate to support and elevate our communication, storytelling, and outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, loves digital design and video editing, and is passionate about making an impact for underserved deaf children and their families.

    Key Responsibilities

    Social Media & Digital Content

      • Creation, scheduling, and posting of content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
      • Maintain an updated content calendar, including funder logos, recognition requirements, and event timelines.
      • Capture, edit, and produce short-form videos using iMovie (expert-level) for program highlights, donor stories, and events.
      • Design visually engaging graphics, reels, flyers, and campaigns using Canva (expert-level required).

    Email Marketing & E-Blasts

      • Development, writing, and distribution of newsletters, e-blasts, and donor communications.
      • Manage and update email lists and segmentation.

    Marketing Materials & Branding

      • Assist in the creation and editing of flyers, brochures, press releases, and promotional materials.
      • Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all platforms.
      • Support stewardship communication with funders, including creating recap videos and impact reports.

    Event & Campaign Support

      • Coordinate logistics for marketing-related components of events (graduations, community events, Galas, partner programs).
      • Capture photos and videos at events to support storytelling and social media content.
      • Assist with promotional campaigns, including scheduling, asset creation, and follow-up content,
      • Oversee the software program for auction items (Clickbid) including creating content and graphics.

    Research, Strategy & Data

      • Conduct market research or trend analysis to support marketing strategies.
      • Track social media analytics, email engagement, and content performance.

    Administrative & Team Support

      • Provide administrative support to the communications and marketing team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing digital files, and maintaining databases.
      • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure messaging accuracy and brand consistency.
      • Assist other departments when needed, especially during peak deadlines or special projects.
      • Ability to come in person based on organizational needs.

    Additional Responsibilities

    In our fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines, flexibility is key. You may be asked to support:

      • Development/fundraising projects
      • Special initiatives
      • Video editing needs
      • Family or community programs when communications assistance is needed

    Qualifications

      • Expert-level proficiency in Canva (required).
      • Expert-level proficiency in iMovie for video editing (required).
      • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
      • 2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, digital media, or nonprofit work.
      • Strong writer and storyteller with excellent editing skills.
      • Experience managing social media platforms and building content calendars.
      • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
      • Photography and basic graphic design skills a plus.
      • Commitment to the mission of empowering deaf children and families.
