The Program Supervisor ensures that all Adult Day Service Programs are appropriately supervised and run at maximum efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance and provides quality services for all Individuals receiving services in the Program.
This is a Mid-Level Management position.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Assists in the planning, creating, training in and supervising of the activities/goals/outcomes/services provided in Adult Day Services Group Rooms.
- Observes and analyzes the individualized needs of the people in Adult Day Services.
- Coordinate the creation of methodologies, goals/outcomes, services to enhance skills, through the Team process.
- Helps develop individual plans, and thereafter develop annual (or as frequently as necessary) evaluations of the individuals’ progress and needs.
- Responsible for supervising group leaders in the formulation and implementation of individual service plans, and the planning and conducting of meetings involving the individuals on their list of responsibilities.
- Maintain contact with families, correspondents, state agencies or other entities entitled to be involved in the life of the individual.
- Instruct and supervises staff in carrying out the programs as written.
- Review monthly data sheets and daily attendance records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and billing standards.
- Demonstrate appropriate interactions between co-workers and Individual in accordance with OPWDD regulations and Block Institute policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- HS/GED required plus 3 years' experience or AA degree with 1 year of experience
- 1 year experience working with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities required
- 1 Year of Supervisory Experience required
- BA/BS Degree required for the highest salary scale
