    Description

    Vancouver Farmers Market Association is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder and community connector with a growth focused mindset who can continue the organization’s momentum in supporting healthy, thriving communities by investing in small businesses, public spaces, and regional food systems.

    This is a unique opportunity to lead a beloved and growing community institution. In addition to showcasing the region’s farm, food, and artisan entrepreneurs through year-round, seasonal, and holiday markets, VFM supports small businesses, expands food access, and strengthens the local economy.

    The Executive Director is the senior staff position and has ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the organization’s operations, programmatic, and community development work. This position has a high degree of visibility within the community and industry and will often serve as the face of the organization to partners and supporters. Alongside the board of directors, the Executive Director leads planning and strategy efforts and ensures those plans are executed effectively through the VFM’s many operations and programs.
