Description
The Ursuline School seeks a strategic and relationship-driven Manager of Annual Giving to join its
Advancement team. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this individual will lead the planning,
execution, and growth of the school’s Annual Fund and parent giving initiatives. The ideal candidate is a
collaborative and results-oriented professional who can effectively engage alumnae, parents, past
parents, faculty, staff, and friends in support of the school’s mission through thoughtful cultivation,
solicitation, and stewardship.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement multi-channel Annual Fund campaigns (mail, email, digital, and phone) to achieve participation and revenue goals
Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through personalized outreach, meetings, and events
Maintain accurate donor records, analyze giving trends, and generate reports to inform strategy
Plan and support donor recognition and stewardship initiatives
Coordinate volunteer engagement and assist with fundraising events, including Day of Giving (Crowds4TUS) and other parent-driven initiatives
Collaborate with school leadership and colleagues, including the President, Principal, Admissions, and Marketing & Communications teams, to advance fundraising priorities
Participate fully in school life, including events, meetings, and advancement activities Support a culture of philanthropy across the school community
Attend approximately 10–12 evening or weekend school events annually
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 3 years of fundraising experience, preferably in independent schools, higher education, or nonprofit organizations
Demonstrated success in annual fund fundraising and growing donor participation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling case for support
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge, GiveSmart, or similar systems preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities independently
