The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and intellectually curious — someone who can manage complex logistics while also understanding the larger vision and tone of the work.

This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of approximately 5-15 hours per week. This is a remote position, though periodic in-person attendance will be required for certain meetings, convenings, and events. Candidates should ideally be based in or have regular access to New York City, and be comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends around programs and productions.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Coordinate timelines, communications, logistics, and follow-up for in-person and virtual programs and convenings
    • Work closely with program organizers and collaborators to support the development and execution of events and public-facing initiatives
    • Help draft and edit program descriptions, invitations, participant communications, and related materials
    • Coordinate with communications, design, production, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all aspects of programming
    • Track invitations, RSVPs, participant needs, travel arrangements, and scheduling
    • Liaise with the Director of Operations and production partners to help facilitate administrative and logistical needs
    • Attend regular team meetings and help maintain momentum across multiple concurrent projects

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities
    • Experience with event production, cultural programming, convenings, or nonprofit arts administration
    • Ability to manage multiple moving parts and shifting priorities with calm and professionalism
    • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with artists, thinkers, funders, and collaborators across disciplines
    • Interest in arts, culture, social impact, futures thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of cultural production, systems thinking, and organizational coordination.
