From Mt. Rainier to Olympic National Park, Washington’s public lands are where we camp, hike, and paddle, and where wildlife have refuge. But after years of underfunding, roads are crumbling, trails are in disrepair, and the parks are understaffed. With millions of visitors each year, we’re loving our parks to death.
Environment Washington is urging our Representatives to reinstate the funding needed to fix and maintain our parks. We are hiring canvassers and field managers in our Seattle office to educate the public about the issue, raise critical funds, and generate the visibility necessary to influence decision-makers.

Pay:
Canvassing staff earn a base pay of $21.30 per hour, plus can earn 20% of what they raise over our minimum fundraising standard, giving staff the opportunity to earn more than $25 per hour. Staff never earn less than minimum wage for the hours that they work. Depending on performance and location, canvassers earn an average of between $21.30 to $27 per hour.
