Bilingual Content Creator Job Announcement
Job Title: Content Creator
Location: Based in North Carolina strongly preferred
About the Role
We're hiring a full-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Content Creator who can design a carousel in the morning, cut a captioned vertical video from an afternoon action, and have both posted, in English and Spanish, before the day is over. You'll be a core member of a small, fast-moving communications team producing a high volume of short-form video and social content to convert viewers into participants, persuade inconsistent voters, and support organizing campaigns across North Carolina, including rapid response when defense moments break.
Responsibilities Include
- Shoot and edit short-form vertical video from actions, press events, and community stories on tight, often same-day deadlines; occasionally cut longer mini-docs
- Design graphics and carousels in Canva for social media, print, and rapid-response moments; own graphics turnaround for campaign launches
- Write social media copy in English and Spanish; create Spanish-language versions that are adapted for our audiences, not just translated
- Produce rapid-response content for breaking defense moments (detentions, ICE activity, election defense)
- Track what's landing: pull engagement and conversion data and report back to the team bi-weekly so production keeps learning
- Cover events across North Carolina: travel for actions, blitzes, and shoots; occasional evenings and weekends
- Maintain Canva templates and visual consistency across campaigns
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish and English: speaking, reading, and writing. You'll create original content in both languages (fluency will be assessed during the hiring process)
- Strong short-form video editing skills, including captions
- Strong Canva skills and a good design eye
- Comfort with fast, same-day turnarounds and shifting priorities when rapid response hits
- U.S.-based (remote is possible, but living in North Carolina is strongly preferred) and able to travel within the state
Preferred Qualifications
- On-camera presence / narration experience (we're always recruiting on-camera narrators)
- Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, motion graphics
- Photography skills
- Data/analytics fluency (Sprout Social, Meta insights, Google Analytics)
Benefits
Competitive salary range of $71,500–$76,500 depending on experience, with benefits, including fully employer-paid health insurance for staff and 100% coverage for dependents, paid time off (PTO), remote office set up, monthly stipend of $100 for phone and internet, and mileage reimbursement for travel. This position is full-time and based in North Carolina.
Level of Language Proficiency
Fluency in Spanish and English: speaking, reading, and writing. You'll create original content in both languages (fluency will be assessed during the hiring process)
