    Description

    Social Media Coordinator

    The Social Media Coordinator is the Cathedral's primary content creator, working across Cathedral departments and program areas, as well as monitoring engagement, facilitating analytics, and producing reports for all the Cathedral's virtual platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). The Assistant is integral to building the Cathedral's brand and growing its social media presence and video storytelling.

    Key Duties:

    • Create and post content, with an emphasis on video content, on all social media platforms, with accountability for measurable growth in following, reach, and engagement against.
    • Monitor and track online engagement; produce regular analytics reports and use findings to refine content strategy.
    • Facilitate relationships with partners, co-producers, content creators etc. to promote Cathedral services, programming, and events.
    • Attend the institutional Social Media Committee to brainstorm and share content plans on a regular basis.
    • Collaborate across departments to gather and write content.
    • Coordinate video logistics and liaise with Cathedral Production and Liturgy as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency with multiple online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, and a variety of software, such as Canva and Final Cut Pro.
    • Knowledge in graphic design and brand management for institutions.
    • Experience successfully utilizing social and digital media metrics for purposes of increased outreach and engagement.
    • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.

    Schedule: Part-time position up to 20 hours per week. Sunday and evening work will be required but will be scheduled in advance. Work is required onsite during a period of training.     Hourly pay rate:
